She finally has a name! After over eight years of work, the restoration effort is almost complete. The refrigerator and freezer are working; the engine is aligned with the shaft; the seacocks for the engine and generator are installed. Over the next week the air conditioners will be installed; the water maker will be hooked up and the hydraulic steering will be completed.
We will be moving onboard in late September or early October and, after a week or two of 'sea trials' on the Ohio River, we will turn our bow down river. Jim's and Shirley's great adventure is about to begin!
