Today is Tuesday; election day. Tonight, after all of the votes are counted, we will have a new President. I sincerely hope that my choice was a good one and that tomorrow I can say that my person won.
Next Tuesday the sailing adventures of Shirley and Jim finally begin! Next Monday our boat will be trucked to Mobile, Alabama (where our masts await us). We will become full-time live-aboard cruisers the next day.
There is still a fair amount of work to be done; the bottom needs to be painted, the heads need to be installed, the bow pulpit, stern pulpit, davits and bimini top need to be manufactured and installed and plumbing for the sinks needs to be completed.
The real fun will begin when sea trails commence; hopefully by January 1st.
Once we are settled into our new floating home in Mobile I will post pictures and/or a short video of the boat being lifted onto the trailer in Cincinnati and her off-loading at Turner Marine.
